Christmas Lights Switch On

Get ready for an evening of festive entertainment at the 2024 Hessle Christmas Light Switch On. With staged performances, a Christmas market, rides and entertainment, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy.

Look out for Father Christmas as he joins Hessle Town Mayor to switch on the lights at 6.30pm.

Road Closures

Road closures for the Hessle Christmas Lights Switch On this evening are:

Parking bays along The Weir will be closed from 2pm. The Weir, between Ferriby Road and Sailsbury St, will be closed to vehicles between 3pm – 9pm.

Parking bays in The Square will be closed from 3pm. Road closures are in effect from 4.25pm – 8pm, with buses using alternative stops from 4pm.
