The Health Inclusion Van will be in Hessle Square from 10am – 3pm today (Monday 16th September)
What is the Health Inclusion Van and how can it help me?
The van is staffed by practitioners from The East Riding Partnership, the Drug and Alcohol service for the East Riding. They can offer specialist advice, education, signposting to services, harm minimisation, blood pressure testing, and a full NHS Health Check. The Health Inclusion vehicle offers interventions, brief advice and support to those who may not have the same access to healthcare for many reasons. This can be anyone in the general population and not just those who experience issues with substance misuse.
The staff can give out hygiene products to those that require it, free of charge. They also have a range of leaflets and information regarding a wide variety of topics from alcohol, drugs, mental health, emotional wellbeing, debt advice and lots regarding varying physical health conditions.
