Hessle Children's Trail 2024

Join us for the Hessle Children’s Trail this summer holiday, a free and exciting adventure for the whole family!

How It Works

From Monday 22nd of July there will be 20 wild animals hidden in shop windows around Hessle. Your mission is to find as many as you can!

  • Collect Your Entry Form: Pick up an entry form from participating retailers.

  • Search for the Animals: Explore the town and spot the wild animals in the shop windows, capture which animal belongs to which shop on the entry form.
  • Submit Your Completed Form: Once you’ve filled in your form, drop it off at the Town Hall on South Lane.

Prizes

  • First 500 Participants: If you’re one of the first 500 people to hand in your completed form, you’ll receive a small prize.
  • Prize Draw: Every participant will be entered into a prize draw to win one of our star prizes, including:
    • A family pass to Our Imagination Station in Hessle
    • A family pass to Yorkshire Wildlife Park

Terms and Conditions

  • Prizes are only available to collect between Monday – Friday, 10am – 2pm.
  • Small prizes are limited to one per person until stocks last.
  • The closing date for the prize draw is Monday, September 2nd, 2024.
  • The winner will be announced via the Town Council’s Facebook page.

All Saints Junior school Pupils Design Stunning Posters for Hessle Children’s Trail

Here are the impressive entries for our “Design a Poster” competition from the talented pupils of All Saints Junior School in Hessle. We were amazed by both the quality and quantity of submissions. Can you spot your poster? Chairman and Town Mayor, Councillor Stephen Craggs faced the challenging task of selecting a winner from the over 80 outstanding entries! The winning poster can be seen above on the official poster.
