In May 2024, Hessle Town Council published a survey to gather views on its annual Christmas Light Switch On event.
The aim of this consultation was to understand previous experiences and future expectations of the event, with an intention of using the results to help shape the event moving forwards.
A total of 187 people responded to the survey.
76.9% of respondents indicated they would be likely to return and there was high praise for the atmosphere and sense of community the event helped to create.
