Council tax support review

We want your views

The law says that any changes to a council tax support scheme must be consulted on. As we’re proposing several changes to council tax support for working-age people we’d like your views before we decide. Pensioners are not affected by these proposals.

The consultation questions included, ask you to consider each of the recommendations and indicate whether you agree or disagree. The findings of this consultation will then be used to inform any new council tax support scheme. You can do this by completing the questionnaire online (here).

If you need help to complete this, you can make an appointment at any customer service centre and they will happily help you complete this questionnaire.

The Council uses SmartSurvey’s software to create and administer the majority of its surveys. All survey responses are managed through SmartSurvey sub-processors, where data is stored securely by robust security features.The data will be kept securely by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s consultation team. It may be used for informing decisions and for statistical purposes by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
